Allen "Buck" Gagliastre

Allen P. Gagliastre “Buck”, 78, died on September 30, 2023 in his home, surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Theresa (Belanger) Gagliastre for 47 years.  Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Alice (Nicklin) Gagliastre.

Allen had worked for Gateways to Change for many years in maintenance, as well as assisted those with disabilities.  He had previously worked in the construction field.  He loved riding motorcycles, as well as maintaining and detailing them.  In his retirement, he also enjoyed landscaping his yard and working in his gardens.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Allen T. “Buck” Gagliastre and his wife Michelle, two step-children, Deborah Parenteau and her husband Lawrence and Pamela Parenteau, two grandchildren, Michael Gagliastre and Kristin Peterson, five step-grandchildren, Brandon Grenier, Lawrence Parenteau, Kyle Parenteau, Kerri Adams, and Jason Parenteau Jr., five great-grandchildren, six great-step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late Lori Kimball Parrillo and Brenda Gagliastre, grandfather of the late Brian Gagliastre, and brother of the late Richard and Ronald Vincent.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 5-8 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Burial will be private.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Continuum Hospice at https://www.continuumhospice.com/
