Alice Ricci

Ricci, Alice L. (Souza), 87, formerly of North Providence, died July 19, 2009 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Elias M. and Louise B. (Fagundes) Souza.

Alice was a former president of the North Providence Golden Agers.

She leaves a son, Robert J. Ricci of North Scituate, a daughter, Shirley A. Ricci of Johnston, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a brother, Alfred Souza of Seekonk, MA.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
