Alice O'Reilly

O'Reilly, Alice Elizabeth "Betty" (Rothwell), 81, died April 26, 2010 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late George W. O'Reilly, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ann (Corbett) Rothwell.

Alice was a librarian for the North Providence School Department, the former co-owner of Twigs Florist, and a homemaker for many years. She received her bachelor's degree from URI in 1970.

She leaves five children, Patricia A. Smith and her husband Michael of Smithfield, Ann M. St. Martin and her husband Marc of Ft. Myers, FL, George W. O'Reilly, Jr. and his wife Robin of Greenville, Kevin J. O'Reilly and his companion Laura of Providence, Mark K. O'Reilly of North Providence, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nora Romano and her husband Anthony.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
