Alfred Carroll

Carroll, Alfred J., 83, of Norma St, died Sunday June 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Mary G. (Casale) Carroll for 62 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Hugh and Anne (Coleman) Carroll.

Alfred was an avid father and family man. He enjoyed reading and was a Notre Dame Football fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Alfred, Michael, Stephen, Daniel and Joseph Carroll, his loving daughters-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Ann Baxter. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Leo, William, John and Thomas Carroll, and Mary Laboissonniere.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 PM.
