Alberta Shurtleff

Shurtleff, Alberta C. (Rocchio), 80, died peacefully July 22, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Herbert F. Shurtleff. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Adeline (Cenci) Rocchio.

She was a former communicant of the former St. Alban's Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Richard Shurtleff of North Providence, Michael Shurtleff of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Paula Thompson of North Providence, and a brother, Michael Rocchio of Narragansett. She was sister of the late Angela Borassi.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her memory, to Trinity Episcopal Church.
