Albert Grilli

Albert J. Grilli, 82, of Johnston, died on January 9, 2023 at the HopeHealth Hospice Inpatient Center.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Anthony Grilli Esq and Della (Cantini) Grilli.

Albert was a purchasing agent for the jewelry industry before retiring.  He later worked as a bartender for the Knights of Columbus, Dillon Council, where he was a longtime member.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, including the Providence College Friars, Boston Red Sox, and New York Giants.

Albert is survived by his son, Glenn Grilli and his wife Karen, three grandchildren, Paige DeBlois, Nicholas Grilli, and Jenna Grilli, as well as his companion, Debbie Reynolds.  He is also survived by three granddogs, Ozzy, Vinny, and Bentley.  He was the father of the late Gina Grilli.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.  Calling hours Thursday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Home for Children, 420 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911 or https://www.smhfc.org/donate/
