Adrienne Mcintosh

McIntosh, Adrienne R. (Etienne), 97, of Angell Ave, died January 1, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Cecil E. McIntosh. Born in Aubenas, France, she was a daughter of the late August F. and Josephine M. (Amblard) Etienne.

Adrienne was a sales person for the former Shepard and the former Peerless department stores for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She was a long time parishioner of the former St. Lawrence Church and a parishioner of St. Philip Church.

She leaves her children, Solange Manni and her husband Fred of Cranston, Venance Antonelli of Johnston, Beverly Cote and her husband Pete of Ft. Kent, ME, and Paul McIntosh and his wife Lucy of Smithfield. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Church, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 PM.
